Here my point, or my need, is not so much to research which letter is to
be used where-- but rather that a separate letter is indeed needed for
the expression of ba and va. My question is merely a technical one-- I
need a letter "ৰ"-halant. If someone can supply me with that, then this
problem will be solved. (For example, in devanagarii it would
be ब् i.e. in contrast to ब |) I need the equivalent of ब् in bengali
script, to place in the bn-baraha.mim file.
I also need to solve the ॠ and ॠ problem ("Ru" "ঋ", "RU" "ৠ")-- neither
of these are working in the bn-baraha.mim file for some reason.

p.s. Runa ji, I will be delighted to discuss the above questions of
yours which are indeed very interesting. Just now I need to solve the
above pressing issues. And your point about 'বিল্ব' (pronounced as
'bil-wa') is indeed true-- my need now though is a separate one i.e. I
need a letter "wa" which can stand independently when needed i.e. not as
part of a conjunct. For example, in Sanskrit the word "vishva" needs to
be written and understood as विश्व and not बिश्व-- so as to
differentiate between that व, and the actual "b" sound such as the "b"
in buddhi, बुद्धि |
