Yes, you are absolutely right. And I fully support the standard Bangla as described by Runa and the greater Bengali community. We are dealing primarily with Sanskrit, and for that reason are in need of differentiating the VA and BA in shriiharsa lipi, so that the distinction will be clear for the multilingual international community.
