I'm a newbie here, and I may be way off base, but my impression has been that
the info-afs list was being run out of Transarc as a courtesy to its customers,
and not as an -official- organ of Transarc. That being the case it seems
unfair to demand that they now expend even more internal resources to moderate
the list than they seem willing to do now.
If we are now asking that the list become moderated, someone in the audience
ought to be willing to step up to the plate and offer to assume those
responsibilities, it seems to me.
[And, no, I'm -not- volunteering. :)]
