I thought they put Napster out of business?

I have never used the program and was wondering -- if you can connect to other
computers and download their .mp3 files from their hard drive, then can they also
connect to your computer using Napster?

If so, I would not want to use the program over a dialup connection; it's slow enough
as it is. Besides, there are many mp3 search engines online, and I'm not that much of
a music fan.

How does Napster work and how do you control who connects to your computer?
