Well, yeah, we run WSPro & Serv-U.  They just seem to run & run.
(Haven't had time to install IMS yet.)
WSPro has best docs & best support, too.

The following about WSPro was just posted to the cf-talk list:

CF community:

I stand corrected. Shanje.com is doing something that even Micro$oft didn't
think was possible. I was wrong.

"each machine in the cluster holds all 14,000+ domains so it
is true, a single machine does hold and serve 14,000+ domains using Website
Pro. Something you can't even try to do with IIS. The load balancing just
distributes the traffic across all the system not because the machine can't
handle the load but by dividing the tasks it is faster than a single machine
and it improves reliability when some nut creates a CF query to extract all
300,000 records from their Access address book with a Select *."

"The Website and CF configuration has been tested to 100,000 domains and
beaten severely at
20,000 and it works great. The bottleneck is not the server but the pipe
coming into the server. Gigabit Ethernet cards start to be able to work but
MS still needs to tweak their TCP/IP stack for better perf. Nevertheless,
the Website/CF combo is way cool. MS never thought a webserver could handle
this sort of load so NT starts to have problems scaling beyond 100,000
domains on a single server. Yet Microsoft doesn't recommend hosting more
than 200 domains on a single IIS box. Big difference from 20,000"

Have a good weekend.

BTW, a lot of folks would recommend multiple cheap ($1500) web server boxes over one or two expensive ones.  Don't know if you're too far down stream to consider this alternative.

Is anyone out there in iMS land using Website Pro for the frontend?

I have never looked beyond IIS myself, but I am looking to maximum possible
performance and stability for a forthcoming service, and under extreme loads.

I also want to run everything on the same physical machine to make maximum use

of the resources of that (expensive - as in very) high spec machine for all
services.

Everywhere I go people seem to rave about Website Pro - any experience out
there, and accordingly comments and observations?

BTW - everyone says the same about the Serv-U FTP server - and having run that
for a few weeks myself now I would have to agree entirely - it might even auth
from ODBC - and even from inFusion if Howie ever has a mind to do that :-)
