Howie, we upgraded to cfx version 3.2.3 and the wrong IP is still showing up
in returned emails. Below is an example header that was returned. I have
already added the sendingIP="65.86.193.163" to the cfx tag as well. Why is
the recieved header created by IMS still showing the actual IP address of
the machine rather than the one I specified? Please advise.
NOTE: We've been generating our own Received header for some time now as
***shown*** below.

The parameter is SendingIP but it's not available in that version of the
CFX. You would have to upgrade to the latest.
As far as SMTPFROM - the POST Server does an MX lookup on the sending domain
and looks for a matching IP so you should select one that matches your
server. For example, if your MX resolves to mail.mediapost.com with an IP
of 65.86.193.163. If this is an IP on your POST Server then you should
probably use an SMTPFROM of <something>@mediapost.com.
The server then would request to the OS that it use the 65.86.193.163
address but the OS might choose a different one.
Regards,
Howie
