Actually, it occurs to me!  This survey was sent to a member of EMU.  He was
asked to get people to fill it in.  How are they going to claim legitimacy
in any way shape of form on this SURVEY?  How are they going to be able to
make a claim of a representative sample?  They are not saying it is a
petition, they are making claim that it is a survey!

At the bottom of the letter there is a list of clergy names who are
supporting this.  I wonder if they realise how unprofessional an activity
they are partaking in ... if they were not so blinded by their single minded
determination.

One of the things that was central to Jesus was to not repay evil with evil.
They may claim they are being dealt evil blows but they are only creating
another monster in their response.

I have just discovered HOW representative this SURVEY will be.  A person in
the congregation where I am has decided to take it upon himself to get
people to fill it in.  His reason for doing so?  "We can't let homosexuals
be ministers!"  I wonder how he intends on making sure that the sample is
representative when he picks who to give the survey!
