I have an Inspiron 7K with an ATI 3D Rage Pro with 4MB video card. I
think I'm fine with all that, but I can't seem to figure out what the
vert and horiz rates for the monitor should be.
I have a lot of Linux experience--except with X. I've never had
problems setting up X before as I've always used components that were
listed in the RedHat Installation program, so RedHat Installation set
it up for me. Everything else seems to be working fine so far--I have
yet to set up my Ethernet card.
I've seen a similar question like this one, but no responses yet.
Thus I pose my specific question of what monitor should I be selecting
in the Xconfigurator if I have the 14.1 inch screen?
Is that even the right question to be asking?
