How about the 3200? Inspiron 3200 with 13.3" screen.
I installed S.u.S.E Linux 5.3 (July 1998) and it went well. I have not tested
the PCMCIA cards (Linksys combo card for ethernet, and new 3Com megahertz 56k
global modem).
I also still need to configure X and was looking for pointers from this list
on choice of drivers.
