Are you getting a message like this from luactivate?

WARNING: The following files have changed on both the current boot
environment <firstlu> zone <global> and the boot environment to be
activated <secndlu>:
   /var/adm/imap.log

I had added this file to the synclist.  Only the active copy should have 
changed,
not both of them.  I had similar problems with other growing files, including 
one
that only had one line appended once an hour.  I opened a support case on the
problem in December, but so far have heard nothing back from the support
person.  He seems to be a dud.
