But the OpenSolaris.ORG mailing lists are the only venue for questions
about problems with LU in SX:CE. You cannot buy a support contract for
SX:CE, so you're stuck with LU if you either cannot (sun4u pre-wanboot) or
don't want to run Indiana.
At least in the case of LU with ZFS root, several people have received
helpful answers over on zfs-discuss, and I'd expect (or at least hope for)
the same for generic questions (not related to S10, of course) here on
install-discuss.

There's not much maintenance of LU going on for S10 either, unfortunately.
I've filed a critical bug about LU on SPARC, and it was closed (no
resources).
