+1 to the creation of a Conary OpenSolaris project (for evaluating and
performing the necessary work to modify Conary to be able to be used
as the central package manager of an OpenSolaris distribution).

Adopting Conary as a standard will have to be voted / proposed
separately after all of the work that needs to be done happens and
proper evaluations are made.

The project will need to address major technical issues (such as
sparse zones, bfu, patching, etc.) before it is reasonable to propose
it for adoption as a standard, but there is no reason that it cannot
exist as a project so that the work that needs to happen first can
within the community.
