There's no RFC warning about unplugged ethernets either.
Before unplugging there's a range steps... which are easily noticed in WiFi.
However, WiFi ad-hoc is just an NBMA subnet. If its multihop can't reach
every party, then it's a disconnected subnet.
I agree.
Neither of these are new.
In a sense yes, these are not new. But their description should be
adapted to wifi.
Maybe we need a document that tells what's a disconnected subnet.
