yes, but u can disable every effect that u want except transparent windows...
although both desktop compo and aero enable, i noticed that playing games at full screen disable transparent windows automatically bit desktop compo still on which allows windows GDI to work a best, Win GDI are important to some driver such as my V1.1 and V1.1E...
