Actually, I think double-time is appropriate for this kind of service,
whether the client knew what he was asking for or not ... but I've
never had the nerve to charge that much myself, and would especially
hesitate to do it if I hadn't warned the client in advance. If the client
really is "*excellent*, I'd suggest you offer to bill about 150% if he
balks at 200%, and warn him that future jobs like this will be at
200% because they mean you have to louse up somebody else's job
the next day due to fatigue.
