One server has 46 maps, 1526 devices, and 21 charts. The other has 12 maps, 591 devices, and 0 charts.
These are in Vmware, the first server is 4 CPUs, 4GB RAM, the second is 2 CPUs, 2GB RAM. I'm considering shrinking the 4GB of RAM on the first server as it's barely using more than 1GB currently. (4GB was recommended by Intermapper for 1000 devices.) -Christopher On 9/5/12 3:09 PM, "Randy Baker" <randy.ba...@georgiancollege.ca> wrote: >Christopher: > >Our Server Group is wanting to give InterMapper another shot at Windows, >but this time it will be a VM on Hyper-V. > >How many maps, devices and charts are you running? > >Randy Baker >Infrastructure Security Technician, IT >One Georgian Drive >Barrie, ON L4M 3X9 >(T) 705.728.1968 Ext: 1183 >(F) 705.722.5123 >www.georgiancollege.ca > > >-----Original Message----- >From: InterMapper-Talk@list.dartware.com >[mailto:InterMapper-Talk@list.dartware.com] On Behalf Of Howard, >Christopher Bryan >Sent: Wednesday, September 05, 2012 2:53 PM >To: InterMapper Discussion >Subject: Re: [IM-Talk] RE: Preferred OS for an InterMapper server > >We used to run Intermappers (2) on Mac Pro G4s up until around 2007.
