As a further reason, (not that I think that's it needed) When doing anything vaguely specialist, e.g engineering, medicine, sport, you require a precise set of terminology so two or more people can communicate clearly. The result of this is that if you want to play in a domain, you must be prepared to learn and use domain specific language/terms/acronyms.
