Denver, > Is this restriction because a person my vote for a wish only once?
Yes > I could think of other schemes, but a person may as well be able to vote for the same wishes every month. > > Perhaps a wish could lose all votes that are older than say 20 or 30 months. > That way a wish that doesn't remain popular will fade in priority. Interesting - I can also think of a great number of schemes. Perhaps I should amend the FAQ to explain this better. Essentially, the whole voting mechanism is intended to prevent the situation where m users can vote for n votes, resulting in all votes having the same or very similar rankings which IMHO would render the voting mechanism useless. This is open to discussion, but if you don't mind I'd like to wait a number of months and see how does the current mechanism plays out, detect its weaknesses and act accordingly, together. > "Top Ten Wishes" seems redundant. > "All Wishes" does the same thing. It simply needs a link to scroll back to the first 10, like <<<First 10 <<Prev 10 Next 10>> Last 10>>>. > > Where the "Logout" link is, there should be a "Login" link when the visitor us not logged in. Will keep these in mind. Thanks a lot! Ramn
