I meant that LiPo batteries in general can be damaged that way. I wasn't
suggesting that this is something that can happen with the Mint circuitry,
because I honestly don't know. If it is properly designed it probably has
both over- and under-voltage protection. The LiPo might still
over-discharge if you for example leave some load hanging off of the vbat
connection for too long etc.
