I've been watching this dicussion and have a question. Why not just make it a e-book and sell it that way? Is any of it going to have links like the TOC? Making it so readers can jump right to a chapter.
The answer to your question is yes. Do the web design on the PC and then use phonegap to put a wrapper on it.
