Actually, I spoke at length with Igor Gashinsky on Tuesday night at IETF 77 before the presentation in DNSOP, and I'm pretty sure I accurately characterized the assumptions behind his proposal. Where he and I disagree, I think, is on the question of whether the assumptions are *operative*. He believes they are; I believe they are not.
