Here's a question for those of you who are a lot smarter than I am...I'm
watching Apollo 13 during the commercial breaks tonight while the ALA - LSU
game is on. They show a couple of scenes in the movie where Jim Lovell's wife
is listening to the transmissions from the spacecraft. It's a grey speaker,
with a NASA logo on it, but it never appears to be attached to a radio. Anybody
know anything about this? Did the families have access to the communications?
It puzzles me every time I see it.
