Dear Bhutta Sahib,
I support Nadeem. Every ISP should be allowed to be on the email list of ISPAK whether
a paid member or not.
Infact, I would go one step further and recommend the following for maximum
participation:
1. For the General Body Meeting of ISPAK on July 10, 2001 in Karachi Mr. Pasha, DS
ISPAK should personally contact the CEO/MD of every operational ISP in the country
whether it is a member of ISPAK or not. All should be invited to this meeting or asked
to send representatives. The email list of ISPAK does not include all operational ISP's.
2. Those who cannot come to Karachi for one reason or another should be informed of
what issues were discussed in the General Body meeting by sending them written minutes
of the meeting and also all should be given an opportunity to present their views by
immediately holding followup ISPAK meetings in Lahore and Islamabad chaired by you as
President ISPAK personally so that no one can complain later.
For Lahore WOL will be more than willing to play host and I am sure we will have
volunteers for Islamabad also.
The above practice is followed very successfully by PASHA and this insures that every
member has the opportunity to participate in the affairs of ISPAK and such openness
leads to a more vibrant, effective and united organization.
Regards
Azfar
