There are unit tests I can have it run as an IT test as well. Though the real
test really is the existing tests as the main issues are updating/replacing
code segments which make assumptions about the directory layout. The tricky
ones were in snapshots, hbck and splits. In this patch I've gotten all of those
to pass. We can add more tests to these components as needed.
