@ahmarsuhail A couple comments, but overall, I really don't like that we're adding IO requests to satisfy an error case that we could workaround in other ways. Most, but not all reads will have a length provided from metadata, but there are a number of scenarios where that's not the case, which makes this a less than ideal tradeoff. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
