Fixed in abc153036. `fileFormat` is now final and passed at construction. The legacy constructor rejects explicit-format targets before deleting old data or publishing new files, including formats stored by earlier overwrites; these callers must use the table write builder. Partitions without overrides retain legacy behavior. Added coverage for append, static/dynamic/prefix/table overwrites and empty static overwrite. All 480 focused core/REST tests passed with normal Maven checks on JDK 11. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
