OK, I'll replace the ivtv driver version with this one then. I thought
the ivtv driver was including newer copies.

I think it's better to have this in source (only), and make sure it
builds on all boxes, or not?


I'm not sure is that what is causing these problems possibly. Is it because people are building it and its failing to build properly.

That would possibly make sense but in that case we need to work out what is
wrong with the build process rather than changing the source.

Now I'm using the one from http://membres.lycos.fr/badzzzz/ and X works, but it is very slow. Another problem is the desktop, that is greater than 720 x 576 as configured in xorg.conf.
