I did the same last night (but i didn't have a spare hard drive, but i had a few hours to kill). I installed windows, all the drivers, and i tried the wintv2000 application, it was perfect on the first try... I then installed media portal from http://mediaportal.sourceforge.net/, and after some minor configuration of channels/cards/etc, it worked flawlessly. MP looks nice, and is on its way to becoming a very good application, I will take pictures of my card, maybe it's because it's an iTVC16 based chip, not iTVC15.
"ivtv: Found an iTVC16 based chip" is in both of our /var/log/messages. ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
