Well, the lines were removed because they caused sound problems for a lot of people... The lines were added in 0.3.6v, but (if I recall correctly) Chris didn't really knew if it should have been added. According to the changelog this should have been a stream safety and YUV patch only... +#0.3.6v - added stream safety patch. + - added fixes for YUV + I have logged that I got the problem when installing 0.3.7a (2005-07-31). - 0.3.7a: Sound not working at start or channel change. - 0.3.6u: OK - 0.3.6z: Sound not OK. - 0.3.6x: Sound not OK. - 0.3.6v: Sound OK at first, but broken on channel switch. /Corax
