As assumed then. Your tuner is set to 5.5MHz ("E0-1 sound carrier") and not to 
6.5MHz as specified by the PAL-D/K. Not sure how this can be done correctly but 
I would suggest the ivtv-coders to add an option to be able to change the SIF 
frequence, as some PAL-M/N people also would like to choose 4.5MHz (our South 
American friends).

Please notify Hans V (on this mailing list) or report this on the 
ivtv-sourceforge (if this is still active)...

This would really help as I know Hans V has been done most of the work since 
0.3.7b... ie he would then be able to track down what setting he changed...
