There's no doubt a good reason but it seems to break things for people. Pff, I've got totally confused. After switching back to 0.3.7a, the sound came back, but the image was blurry. Then I switched to 0.3.7h again, and woala, the sound is still present! And the image is also good. I don't understand what magic happens under the hood... Try a cold boot (good 30 secs or so) and see what happens with 0.3.7h then. Chances are that the "a" version sets something that "h" doesn't unset.
