I have had success with the ivtv-firmware package from atrpms.net. You may want
to try adding it to your Fedora Core installation. It does cause a warning in
the ivtv dmesg output, but see my other post on that issue.

Subject: [ivtv-users] Error loading firmawre

I just added a PVR-350 to my Fedora Core 3 Myth box. I've been
following Jarod Wilson's Myth how-to to get it configured, and I'm stuck
with the following errors.

ivtv: version 0.4.2 (tagged release) loading

The initial testing worked ok, I could capture video to a file and view
it ok, when I rebooted the system was never able to load the firmware
properly. I've been searching on google for days, and through the list
archives. I've seen that I'm not the only one having this problem, but
none of the fixes I've seen have worked for me. I copied the firmware
files from the ivtv site, and set the permissions wide open. I can't
seem to figure this one out... current modprobe.conf follows.
