I had been using 0.4.4 with a newer pvr150 (non-mce), manually setting tuner type with module options because the 0.4.5 version recognized the tuner but locked up in MythTV on channel change.
The 0.4.6 snapshot I grabbed this morning and installed seems to work fine, and channel change does indeed seem faster than 0.4.4.
