I have these relevant packages installed. [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ rpm -qa | grep ivtv ivtv-kernheaders-0.7.0-117.fc5.at ivtv-kmdl-2.6.17-1.2174_FC5smp-0.7.0-117.fc5.at ivtv-kmdl-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5-0.8.2-123.fc5.at ivtv-0.8.2-123.fc5.at ivtv-kmdl-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5smp-0.8.2-123.fc5.at ivtv-firmware-1.8a-10.at perl-Video-ivtv-0.13-8.fc5.at > > > Is Axel Thim still on this list? But i don't understand - i am quite certain that i never did install ivtv from source (i tried to build the source once, but it failed. And Axel/the ivtv-team fixed the error before me (shocking!). Anyway, i have a /usr/local/bin folder full of ivtv-related stuff (but nothing else in /usr/local except a couple of proprietary apps (matlab, Adobe, and a non-working quake3 arena) - no support files etc. Ill try to clean out those. [EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# ls cx25840ctl ivtv-detect ivtvfbctl ivtvplay ivtv-tune mex ivtvctl ivtv-encoder ivtv-mpegindex ivtv-radio matlab quake3 Anyway, after clearing out those old files, it works.
