Try the ivtv module option newi2c=0 or newi2c=1. See if any one of these
fixes the problem. If neither will fix it, then it might be a hardware
problem. Test under Windows to see if that's the case. You can always work
around this by using the cardtype module option to explicitly specific the
card.
