I'm not sure off hand.  I'll look into it when I get home.  Actually, my
back end is a Mythbuntu alpha 4 install (or something like that, dated
september 1 or there about).  It's Gutsy based, and uses Gutsy
repositories.  I'll look up the specific ivtv version later on.  As for the
kernel, I'm not sure exactly what it's running, but I would imagine whatever
Gutsy was running at the time.  After looking at the Mythbuntu website, i
see that they just released a beta version, so perhaps that would be
something to look at for a solution.
