Can you recap the problem? I truly can't remember what the problem was.

But in general my advice these days is to install the latest and 
greatest v4l-dvb repository from www.linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb and see if 
that solves the problem. That repository should install on kernels >= 
2.6.12 and contains the best driver version. If a bug is verified to 
exist in there, then it's much easier for me to debug.
