So last weekend, I upgraded my CPU from an AMD 64 X2 3200 to a 4000 ($50, hard to pass up). Unfortunately, after over two months free of the dreaded "ivtv0: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0" error, they have started showing up once a day or so :(. Once these appear, the machine will continue to run for a few hours (just not able to record from the PVR-150), then it will lock up. I think I will try turning off CoolAndQuiet in the BIOS to see if that has an effect. After that, I'm at a loss... with kernel 2.6.22, I have no clue how I am supposed to go about upgrading the ivtv driver version. Downloading from http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Download only gets me the ivtvfb.ko (frame buffer), not a newer ivtv.ko... _______________________________________________ ivtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-users
