So last weekend, I upgraded my CPU from an AMD 64 X2 3200 to a 4000
($50, hard to pass up).  Unfortunately, after over two months free of
the dreaded "ivtv0: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0" error, they have started
showing up once a day or so :(.  Once these appear, the machine will
continue to run for a few hours (just not able to record from the
PVR-150), then it will lock up.

I think I will try turning off CoolAndQuiet in the BIOS to see if that
has an effect.

After that, I'm at a loss... with kernel 2.6.22, I have no clue how I
am supposed to go about upgrading the ivtv driver version.
Downloading from http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Download only gets me
the ivtvfb.ko (frame buffer), not a newer ivtv.ko...
