In this case, the context is simple and complete: Serge indicated that CVS
commit was by majority vote, and that wasn't what I thought the rules said.
So outside of any other context that one might wrongly assume, I wanted to
correct my own understanding of what the rules are, and how they work.
Especially since I would not be surprised if I get questions about them at
Software Summit.
Watching the discussion right now between you and Danny regarding going to
the PMC is educational, in and of itself.
I hadn't mentioned forking, becase although I did understood it to be a
"solution", I don't consider it to be a healthy solution. It is a solution
of last resort.
