What's the setting of ApJServManual in your jserv.conf? Your description
sounds like you're running in manual mode in which case JServ is controlled
separately from the web server. Can you tell if your JVM is shutting down
when you kill the web server?

If I change something in my jserv.properties file, restart the httpd deamon,
it has no effect, how come ???
Neither gives apache an error when I put somethin stupid in the file.

I installed jserv 1.1.1.-1-i386 as rpm on my RedHat 7.0 machine, and can
start servlets in my /home/httpd/servlets dir.
However I wanted to change that, that's what I did in the zone.properties,
but nothing happens.
What I noticed: Httpd.conf reads jserv.conf, that reads jserv.properties,
that reads zone.properties.

When I change something in the jserv.conf, it has effect, but if I change
something in the jserv.properties, it has no effect!!!
The jserv.conf contains (as default):
----
ApJServProperties /etc/httpd/conf/jserv/jserv.properties
----

Secondly, what I don't understand: I changed the dir name containing the
servlet Bla, and it still executes the Bla with the URL that doesn't exists
anymore (I deleted the cache from the browser) ??? How come ??

Regards,
Ed Bras
