Indeed is was in manual mode.
I have changed it now, but it now gives an error connection erro, the
mod_jserv.log file says:

What do I do about this ?
I went through the faq, and checked the correct paths, log file names, log
files rights, localhost lookup, and that all seem to be in order, so what
could it be ?
Resume: I do have Apache Jserv 1.1.1-1 and Apache 1.3.12 on RedHat 7.0
