Well I knew something like that would happen and that some hardcore
VRML-people will disagree but fact is no one is starting up new VRML
things. VRMLs popularity was somewhere in the mid-99/early 2000. But if
you ask someone building up new webcontent nearly anyone is regarding
VRML. (At least in my experience). The problem is the highbandwith format
itself (either you are limited to small worlds or highbandwith users)
MPEG4/X3D is a good alternative yes.
