Doug, 1.2.1_04 is the current release. Is it working in this release, or do you mean to say a later release? If later, when will it be available?
Thank you Andrea Boright -----Original Message----- From: Doug Twilleager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, March 14, 2002 4:54 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [JAVA3D] j3D detection We are working with the JDK groups on an auto-download server using webstart technology. The sticky part of all of this is export controls. Whenever anyone tries to download a Java technology, a reverse IP check needs to happen to verify that the software is not going to somewhere it's not supposed to go. The auto-download server will be a central server that does these checks and uses webstart to deploy requested packages. I am not an expert on these technologies, so that is the extent of my knowledge. Our 1.2.1_04 release is scheduled to be one of the first technologies available in this fasion.
