Hello,
I tried to use both the NCSA's CAD Loader as well as Starfire's
3DS Loader. But, I have 2 problems
(1) I cannot see the object in my Java3D Scene. It seems to be
loading the nodes though (debug statements).
I am able to view these DXF & 3DS models in SpinFire CAD Viewer,
but I cannot modify them. I downloaded these objects from the Web.
Moreover, I dont understand the DXF codes so I cannot modify the
file directly !!
(2) Even when I use Starfire's 3DS Loader, it gives an error
saying cannot load textures. So, maybe that is the reason why
I cannot see the objects.
I am comfortable with VRML loaders, but I am not familiar with
CAD so can someone please help me out with this.
I would also appreciate if someone can send me some sample 3DS &
DXF models that works fine, so that I can test it.
