I have heard it said that Behaviours are the only way to change a live scenegraph. Not sure about that, but that is what they are designed for.
I put together a small java3d tutorial that has a couple of sections about behaviours which may be useful, although it doesn't exactly match your situation. http://www.newview.co.uk/e/tutorials/java3d/index.jsp -ben -----Original Message----- From: Botha Levente [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 09 July 2003 08:03 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [JAVA3D] Animating body Hi all! I restarted to work on my simulation project and i got into problems in the firs hour. A would like to animate the legs of a human body. If i press a button it should make a "full step" (moving both legs ...). I tried to make a while cycle with the right transformations in it but my "human" doesn't move his leg. It calculates the angle's. I set the Transform3D -s, set the transforms but nothing happens until the last transformation. So ... i would like to ask you: how could i solve this problem. I would like to se "him" animating that step (let's say rotating those legs with a little stepping, 0.1 rads by ex.) I hope you could understand what i wrote. Thanks in advance!
