Justin,

Since I didn't get a receipt of this message through the list, I am resending this ...

Hi Justin,

I can be very short. I want to keep using Java3D. I developed
a number of industrial applications. It took me a while before
I got the right prospects, but wherever I am doing a demo now,
people want to have and use it. Java3D allows me to turn every
idea into a real working product. So, I don't want to loose it.

Maybe there are some better solutions in the gaming area. But
for money generating solutions in the industry, Java3D is the
best. And, after 25 years in automotive CADCAM I know what I'm
talking about.

Of course, there should be some kind of (small?) organization
behind it to add new features. Because the rest of the world is
not standing still and without further development there is a
danger that it will get behind. If there is such a back-up I
am even prepared to pay some kind of fee for keeping Java3D
at the front-edge of technology. Sun would be very stupid to
try to sell things developers don't really need while turning
down great tools as Java3D.
