Although I just bought a myTouch (T-Mobile's version of the HTC Magic)
just six months ago, the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and hi-res screen
of the Nexus One is extremely tempting since bringing up the home
screen is so painfully slow on the myTouch. The five home screens and
radio on/off widgets are also appealing.

I'm not sure the poor outdoor visibility is a showstopper since the
outdoor visibility of the myTouch is pretty poor to begin with. A
colleague just bought the N1 but we've been having rain, rain, rain
here in the Bay Area this week, so I haven't had a chance to see the
full-sun affect on the N1 for myself :-). Can anyone compare the
outdoor screen visibility of the N1 and the myTouch?

Next, I thought I read that the N1 only has a single band, 2100, which
seems like it might be limiting when traveling. Is this true, or is it
a quad-band phone like most these days? I guess if Casper is using it,
it means it works in Europe, which is probably good enough for me :-).

Are the micro-USB power cords mostly compatible? That is, could I use
my Kindle power cord on the N1 and vice-versa?
