the trend is 1) iphone/android are gaining market share in US 2) that US users with androids and iphones actually use them as smartphones. blackberry/wimo users tend to use them for phone calls and email/ texting only. which means bb/wimo aren't very interesting from a developer standpoint.
I've seen worldwide data as well, but don't have time to find it. similar, but less definitive trends as I recall.
