That's as likely as any random crackpot conspiracy theory. The problem is of course if (however unlikely it may be), somehow proof that apple intentionally created the situation where a journalist could now go to jail leaks out, apple is going to lose billions in assets one way or another, between brand damage and legal proceedings. Rather obviously not worth the risk, and there are plenty of simpler ways to leak it.
