Oh yeah, the worlds almost-tied-with-the-#1 language is nearing end of
life and merely hanging in there.

What a load of bollocks.

For the web my personal opinion is that HTML5 is clearly going to win
that fight. But JavaFX isn't just applets. In fact it's mostly not
applets.
